Walking along the Bat Galim promenade led me to a corner of Hamad called "Dog Beach".
This is a dog-release complex located about a hundred meters northeast of the abandoned "Casino" building and near the wall of the Navy Yard.
The dog beach was inaugurated in 2020 and includes various facilities for the well-being of dogs and their owners, including sitting areas, dog showers and drinking facilities. At the entrance there is a double gate to prevent the dogs from escaping.
I personally enjoyed watching the dogs frolic and play on the beach without the distraction of the two walkers. To remind you, this is about man's best friend, so it's wonderful to see that Jesus thought of them as well.
An experience for dog owners
I highly recommend you to come with your families to the place and enjoy this paradise for dogs, especially these days when the temperature is pleasant and the sun is not burning.
Please note that the dog beach is not intended for bathing, therefore there are no lifeguards there!
Hopefully the beach will be opened and cleaned when the boardwalk opens
