A meeting outside the bay
On Friday (4/11/22) I met with Dr. Lester Israel, coordinator of the "5th Club" of the northern branch of the large collector cars in Haifa and the Kiryat. According to Dr. Lester, the northern branch of the "5th Club" meets outdoors The bay every Friday between 15-17:30 p.m. The "5 Club" is so called after the 5 digits that were on the cars that hit the road until 1960. I admit that when the collector cars started arriving at the complex I was excited by their colorful and well-kept appearance.

The purpose of the club is to foster the collection of antique and classic vehicles in Israel, to represent the collector community before the state authorities and to provide training on the correct use of these vehicles.
It was a feast for the eyes to witness the variety of models that participated in the meeting such as the Morris 8 in bright burgundy color from 1935 (many, many years before I was born) with right hand drive. Yes….wheel on the right side 🙂
And the Triumph Spitfire from 1965 with a bottle green color that underwent a general renovation by Michel Golan who owns the car. According to Dr. Lester, this car was found buried in the sands of Kiryat Ata and it is unbelievable how it looks today after the renovation.

Cadillac "The King"
When the Cadillac cars cruised into the collector car meeting complex, we all stopped and looked at the king of luxury cars that was manufactured by the Cadillac company in the 50's - 60's.
This is a very impressive vehicle whose presence on the road is very noticeable.

Here are some more photos that my camera lens captured from this colorful and powerful experience. To look at these vehicles and feel as if we have gone back in the time tunnel 80, 90 years ago.
A big shout out to all the organizers of the 5th Club meeting, the participating members and thanks to Dr. Lester Israel the conductor for the activity of the northern branch in Haifa and the Kiryat.
