(haipo) - The Ministry of Defense has completed the evacuation of the fuel base in Nasher in favor of establishing a new industrial zone in Haifa Bay.
The Ministry of Defense informed Lai Pa:
As part of the national move led by the Ministry of Defense to remove IDF camps from city centers for the benefit of urban and economic development, the Amon Division (Operations, Logistics and Assets) this week completed the evacuation of the fuel base located in the industrial area of the city of Nesher, in the heart of the industrial-commercial area of Haifa Bay.
In the place of the military camp complex, which has an area of about 40 dunams, a new employment center is expected to be built for knowledge-intensive industry, crafts and more.
The evacuation of the base will accelerate the economic and business growth in the area and allow for optimal utilization of the land, due to its strategic location near the port.
Avi Shaked, head of the marketing and store clearance division in the cooperation unit in the trust division of the Ministry of Defense:
"Evacuation of the fuel base joins a series of moves led by the Ministry of Defense in collaboration with the Israel Lands Authority, the Ministry of Finance and local authorities, to remove IDF camps from city centers for the benefit of urban and economic development. Just over the past year, the Ministry has cleared thousands of dunams in areas of demand and we anticipate that this process will intensify ".
Roy Levy, Mayor of Nesher:
"The city of Nesher is in a building boom and tremendous growth of residential neighborhoods as well as commercial and smart industrial buildings. As a child who grew up in a city with a mythical cement factory and a fuel base, I am happy to take part in the change, together with fellow travelers, in improving the city for its residents. Nesher is already cleaner and more efficient, in the future we will also benefit from new residential neighborhoods and above all from an extensive employment offer. I would like to thank the Ministry of Defense and the Israel Lands Authority for promoting the handover.'
Roy Levy for mayor of Haifa!
It seems that Roy Levy is launching Nesher in all areas and making the cliché a school of political maneuvering
Is there any possibility that he will run in the next elections in Haifa? I have a feeling that he will take the elections lightly with the experience in Nesher
