Cruise between Haifa and Acre
The ship Queen of Acre docks at the passenger dock of Haifa Port 4 years after the first publication of the initiative to establish a cruise line between Haifa and Acre, the cruise line was inaugurated last night.
As a reminder, in 2012 the Ministry of Tourism promoted this initiative, in cooperation with the Haifa Municipality and the Port of Haifa. The idea was to leave the port itself, near the lower city, but the initiative was stopped due to difficulties related to the safety procedures of the port, which is managed under fences and heavy security and the movement to the docks is very limited.

Oct. 2016 - the initiative is launched
The ship "Queen of Acre" will sail between the port of Haifa and the anchorage in Acre
The new cruise line that opened today is the result of an initiative by the Ministry of Tourism through the Old Acre Development Company and the municipalities of Haifa and Acre. The Ministry of Tourism invested about NIS 11 million in upgrading the infrastructure at the cities' ports and the municipalities of Haifa and Acre will assist in the marketing of the line which will later be included in a combined card, offering tours of the tourist sites in Acre and Haifa.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the line is expected to attract tens of thousands of tourists from Israel and abroad every year. It should be noted that this is the first time that a regular cruise line operates between Acre and Haifa, 7 days a week.
In the morning and in the evening, at fixed times. On holidays, the number of sailings will be doubled (except for Memorial and Yom Kippur days). The cruise line will be operated for a run-in period until Pesach.

The departure is from Haifa and not from Kishon.
We arrived for the 11 o'clock cruise at 1030 there were no tickets.
They made me and 2 other kids stand in the sun until 1230 to buy tickets for the 1400 cruise (the advance purchase machine doesn't work).
When answering the phone they spoke in a disgusting manner.
One big blasphemy….
The cruise departs from the passenger hall in front of the Hasmona train station
I must mention the disgusting attitude of the ticket seller at Haifa port who spoke in a condescending and disgusting manner towards me, the ship's crew was very kind and helpful and smiling
