Among the Rosh Hashanah honorees of the 769th Brigade, 'Utzbet Hiram', headed by the brigade's commander Col. Sion Bloch, is Corporal Yuli Goldschmidt from Haifa. Well done!
This is a regional division, which is responsible for the defense of the thumb of the Galilee - from the Ramot Naftali ridge, through the Hula Valley to Mount Dov in the east. All the soldiers of the brigade and the fighters who are in operational employment in which they invest night and day to make sure that all the residents of the area feel as safe as possible and at all times. From the brigade, the outstanding soldiers were chosen, to honor their high-quality activity, their good will, their love of the country and their great investment.
Among the honorees you will find Corporal Yuli Goldschmidt, a corporal in the brigade's HML, who received the distinction thanks to her hard and dedicated work.
Yuli was born and raised in Haifa, and was educated at the Reut School of the Arts. When she enlisted nearly a year ago, to serve as an operational sergeant in the brigade, she knew that she wanted to give as much as she could for the country. Now she has been spending almost six months in the sector, helping to protect the northern border.
Yuli tells about the sense of meaning in the role:
"For me, every shift is an opportunity to make an impact - even the fighters on the edge rely on our efficiency and professionalism as a team."
Yuli received the distinction thanks to her pursuit of contact, her various activities in the sector and maintaining a high operational standard.
