Primary schools and kindergartens
There are 7 elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school and a high school for special education operating in the city, with a noticeable increase in the number of students studying in the city's education system. 74 children study in 2088 urban kindergartens. In the last 4 years, about 250 children have been added to the preschool education system. Four new kindergartens were opened this year, of which two are special education kindergartens, a state education kindergarten and the first anthroposophical kindergarten in the city.

The Passover center moved to Kiryat Bialik from Kiryat Motzkin and these days preparations are being made in the municipality for the start of renovation work and adaptations to the needs of the center which will start operating in the former YDA school building. A new wing was established at the "Psagot" school with 6 classrooms. It is a two-story building with 3 classrooms on each floor, in addition to a spacious foyer, 2 auxiliary classrooms that, if necessary, will also be used as protected spaces and two spaces for individual study.
Renovation and upgrade
During the summer, extensive upgrading and renovation work took place in educational buildings to prepare them for the upcoming school year. Safety and firefighting inspections and a tree survey were carried out for all educational institutions in the city. Upgrade works were completed at the "Habonim" school, as part of which a short synthetic pitch was installed. In the schools "Rakafot" and "Mitar" the bridal classes were established. At the Ort Kiryat Bialik school, an athletics stadium was upgraded. As part of the works, the surface was covered with synthetic grass and 4 pitches were built on it. Synthetic grass fields were established at the "Bialik" school and at Dafna and Afek middle schools. The municipality continued the project of renovating kindergarten yards. Also, the works for the construction of new day care centers in Naot Afek have been completed.
Advanced projects and study programs
Advanced study programs and many innovative projects will be introduced in the 2018 school year in the city's schools.
At the "Kadima" school, media and communication will be taught at all age levels. English studies will start as early as first grade. Third grade students will get to learn the basics of financial education. Communicative classes studying at the school will begin to learn cycling.
Also in the "Youth" school they will learn about financial management and wise consumerism. The students will even get to improve their fine motor skills by studying jewelry making.
In "Mitar" and "Neorim" schools there will be puppy studies where the children will learn to care for and train dogs and will even be a warm home for the dogs that are in the school.
The "Psagot" school will teach a course of teachers which will acquire, in addition to the written and spoken language, the language of action. For this purpose, a learning environment adapted to the new project was established at the school.
Creativity, high-tech, science and more
At the Mitrim School, the school day will open every morning with a program dedicated to Israeli artists and the study of their works. The prestigious "Amirim" program will be operated this year at the "Mitarim" school, in which outstanding students from grades 4-6 will participate. The students will learn math, computers, science and leadership in extra hours and in a special program for them.
At the "Rakafot" school, programming languages and robotics will be taught along with modeling and integration of 3D printers and digital art, which will enable creative learning along with the development of teamwork and diverse skills.
In Ort Afek High School, the "Hitclass" program will be implemented, a program for high-tech studies in the education system, designed to expose students to the worlds of high-tech and allow them to be active participants in the digital environment. 7th grade students will engage in interdisciplinary learning in a learning process that merges knowledge from three fields of knowledge: history, literature and the Bible. For 9th grade students, one hour per week will be devoted to learning to write research papers.

At the Ort Dafna High School, the educational program to promote girls to high-tech will be implemented, exposing the female students to various aspects of technology and industry, with the aim of encouraging them to choose a technological course of study, which will allow them to integrate into the Israeli high-tech industry in the future. During the program, activities dealing with equality will be integrated. The program is intended for eighth-grade students.
Computers in the community
Another program that will be implemented at the school is the computer science program in the community in collaboration with the University of Haifa, with the aim of exposing the students to scientific thinking and the ideas that are the foundation of computer science. Also, an entrepreneurship program combining advanced technologies for building and designing websites and 3D printing will be implemented.
