Hundreds of people gathered today (Saturday 20/8/2022) at Beit Halochem in Haifa for a unique event: a soccer match between the veterans of the Israel national team and the Beit Halohem team. The event is intended to honor and strengthen the sports and rehabilitation activities of the disabled. The event was moderated by sports broadcaster Zohir Bahlul, who broadcast the game and excited the crowd on the court. In addition, there were dances with the participation of some members of Beit HaLohm and female volunteers at the club. Among the former players who participated in the event are Zion Merili, Shai Dahan, Ayalon Shwegar and Haran Lala.

The event opened with a match between mixed teams of veteran Israeli national team players with members of Beit HaLochem. The sides parted with an exciting 2:2. After that, they cleared the stage for the members of the "Latino Gal" band, the dance group of the members of Beit HaLochem, who performed an impressive waltz dance in collaboration with Beit HaLochem volunteers.

Nissim Hasin, director of Haifa Beit HaLochem, greeted the participants in the event:
We are happy to host the former Israeli national team players. The event was born in cooperation with the IDF organization for the disabled, Beit HaLochem Haifa and the sports community in Israel. We will continue to cooperate with other groups and organizations, this will contribute to us and make our society better and more tolerant. Sports activity is a rehabilitative and social response for the disabled and their families. I thank all Who took part in organizing this event. Special thanks to Zohir Bahlul who came here to accompany this event.

After that came the main course of the event: a match between the veterans of the Israeli team and the Beit HaLochem team. The host team showed impressive abilities and defeated the veterans 9:6. The Whites from Beit HaLohm took a 3-goal lead in the first half and managed to hold onto it until the end. The veterans kicked the goal non-stop, but the goalkeepers of Beit HaLochem made several saves that ensured the victory. At the end of the game, the manager of Beit HaLohm, Nissim Hasin, distributed trophies to both teams.

In Beit HaLochem there is a group of people with lower limb disabilities who ride special bicycles. Go out into the field and drive for miles.
I think they should also be mentioned.
Thanks
