Sergeant Nega Iluz from Haifa
Among the outstanding, a paramedic in the 77th Battalion was selected, Sergeant Nega Iluz from Haifa, who received her distinction thanks to the high abilities she demonstrated and her dedication to the job.
The 21-year-old Nega has lived in Haifa all her life, studied at Urban School V, was in the Bnei Akiva youth movement and participated in the religious girls' preparatory school - 'IDF'. Nega was recruited in August 2019 for a paramedics course and after completing the course was assigned to the 77th Battalion of the 7th Armored Brigade She has been in the battalion for a year and a half and is very satisfied with her role and the sense of meaning in her service.

One of the moments she remembers in the service was in the "Guardian of the Walls" operation when she was jumped together with her battalion to the Gaza Strip, where she realized how much all the training she went through had a deep meaning and great importance.
Nega received her distinction for working hard day and night, broadening her horizons and always acting beyond the requirements of her position, which were high as well, and always fighting to protect each and every soldier.

Corporal Yael Hadas Tsroya and Vozerva from Kiryat Motzkin
Another outstanding among the president's honorees is Corporal Yael Hadas, who serves as a dentist's assistant in the 769 Regional Brigade on the Lebanese border, who received the badge of honor thanks to her hard work and uncompromising dedication to her job and, more importantly, to the soldiers.
Yael enlisted in December 2020 for internships and a Hebrew course at Machavah Alon, since most of her life she lived in Brazil, and came especially to live in a country that would feel 100 percent hers and protect it - the State of Israel.
With the completion of the Hebrew course, Yael went through additional training that lasted three months in an assistant course, until she was placed in the dental clinic of the 769 Regional Division where she has been the head of the clinic for 10 months.
When Yael was asked what she thought was the reason why she received the distinction, she replied: "I think when you do things from the heart, it touches people and they notice it."
