Itzik Mamran, 49 years old, fell a little while ago from a height in the Grand Canyon in Haifa. Volunteers of the Carmel Rescue Union perform CPR on him and at this stage his condition is listed as critical. The circumstances and nature of the incident are under review. Later, MDA medics and paramedics joined and provided medical treatment and performed resuscitation operations, which ultimately determined the death of the worker.
MDA paramedic Ofer Vinik, who treated the wounded, said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a man lying on the square after apparently falling from a ladder. We gave him medical treatment and performed advanced resuscitation operations on him that included massages, breathing and drug treatment, but his condition was too serious and after a short time we had to pronounce him dead on the spot."
