You are invited to the lecture: "The Tragedy of the Patria"
lecturer: Mr. Nissim Veysa, member of the board of the association.
The story of the fate of the Patria (motherland), a British deportation ship, on which the "Hagana" wanted to prevent the deportation of illegal immigrants from Israel and for that purpose they planted a bomb on it while it docked in the port of Haifa. However, as a result, the ship sank with, apparently, about 250 immigrants.
The lecture will take place on Monday (tomorrow) 25/4/22, at 10:30 am
