Guests from all over the country
About 80 contractors, entrepreneurs and real estate guns arrived at the impressive field of Shuki Moas in the Dania neighborhood of Haifa. The idea was Raz Menashe and Yossi Lehm, owners of a construction company, who invited the Minister of Housing Ze'ev Elkin, the CEO of the firm Yoav Friedman and the Deputy CEO To David Etzioni, to Rabbi Sheik with the many guests who came from all over the country.
"How do you lower the prices?"
For about an hour and a half, Minister Elkin and the heads of his office patiently answered all the questions and grievances of the people in the industry, with the main question that came up being: how to lower the prices of the housing units.
Among the participants were the contractor Gad Zaevi, Shai Abuhchira, CEO of Sela Binoi, Yaki Amsalem, CEO and owners of Almog Yossi Abrahami, Avi Rahamim, Moshe Miller, owners of Shovel, lawyers Sofi Aviv and Dekel Deri from the Deri Rozh Aviv office and more.

"We are all friends"
Menashe and Lahem are the directors of the Haifa Entrepreneurs' Forum. Lehm told Lahi Pa about the meeting:
"From time to time the entrepreneurs meet to discuss various issues and mainly to keep up to date and exchange opinions. In Haifa we are all colleagues and friends, which is really nice and different from other cities. The meeting was attended by huge companies in addition to local ones. At the last meeting, we hosted the Minister of Construction and Housing Ze'ev Elkin, CEO of the Ministry Aviad Friedman and Deputy CEO David Etzioni.
"If we had relied on Haifa, we would have changed professions"
Most of the conversation revolves around the transformations in the construction industry, the crazy prices of land, the amount of land marketing and construction starts. We wanted to hear from the minister and the ministry staff about the future, important matters for the country and the purchasing population.
Out of the two hours of the meeting, people asked or talked about Haifa Municipality for 10 minutes or XNUMX minutes, mainly about the fact that nothing is happening and everything is standing still. Most of us build throughout the country and not in Haifa, even though we are from Haifa and the city is important to us. In matters of livelihood, we build where it pays, otherwise we would all change professions."

Know how to do, talk less
Lehm refers to this because photos from the event were distributed on Facebook while trying to make political capital, in a rather amateurish way, he says. "What is written on Facebook is of no interest to anyone and it was also published in a Facebook group that is of no interest to anyone. We are people who know how to do and less talk. It is sad that there are people who engage in nonsense instead of working.
"A lot of stupid things were written there, even funny," he says. "They wrote that it was an emergency conference, for example. It was a pre-planned conference with refreshments and pre-ordered guests. They said it was in the hall on Shabbat evening, and it happened on Thursday at all. They said Hoon Shelton, which is really ridiculous, because people who do Hoon Shelton will do it one on one in rooms and not in a respectable conference. These are the things: we work, do, build and make a living, and whoever wants to present it differently, this is mainly indicative of him."
