Plea deal for the driving teacher, who harassed a 17-year-old student and received 9 months of community service and a fine.
The 74-year-old driving instructor Yosef Baur was convicted in a plea deal of indecent acts on his 17-year-old student. In the plea deal reached through his lawyers Tami Ullman and Shaf Ullman, it was determined that Baur will serve 9 months of community service and pay the complainant NIS 20. Magistrate Court Judge Maria Ficus Bogdanov is the one who will hand down the sentence in the case after the opinion on its compatibility with the settlement.
9 months of service work and 20 thousand NIS
The girl's father said today (17/01/22) to Hai Fa:
He was convicted, which is the most important thing.
The whole purpose was to warn the other girls, who were going to learn to drive with him. This was my daughter's goal. This process continued for 5 excruciating years. My daughter's whole goal was that what happened to her would not happen to others. She went through this process and was aware of the consequences and difficulties along the way. And so if she contributed even a little so that other girls wouldn't get hurt, then for her it was worth everything.
In May 2019, the Haifa District Attorney's Office submitted to the Haifa Magistrate's Court an indictment against Yosef Baur, a driving instructor and a resident of Haifa, for committing indecent acts on several occasions with his minor student during driving lessons.
Lawyers Tami Ullman and Shaf Ullman gave Hai Fa in response:
This is a completely reasonable arrangement under the circumstances of the aforementioned case. The accused confessed, took responsibility for his actions and today was sent to the supervisor to get the supervisor's opinion.
If everyone who was hurt/hurt would complain, we would prevent a lot of injuries
Know him. He would throw comments at me every time I came to shop at the kiosk where he was infested. And his repulsive looks every time he saw me. A perverted beard and another conqueror of a kippa. disgusting
I wish they would cut off the hands of anyone who touches the children of Israel against their will.
contemptible…
Shame and disgrace denial of driving lessons and a mandatory license
Denying his driver's license is an appropriate punishment for this case and not the joke of plea deals and service jobs.
He hurt the mind and soul of a young girl and therefore the punishment was supposed to be significant.
An old and cheeky criminal got money for driving lessons and is not ashamed he is the age of this student's grandfather. It turned out very cheap.
