A resident of Kiryat Ata was arrested on suspicion of stealing a wallet containing credit cards from a female patient at Rambam Hospital. The police are investigating his suspected involvement in other cases.
A joint operation by the police with the security unit and the police NCO stationed at the hospital led yesterday (Wednesday) to the arrest of a resident of Kiryat Ata, in the 1930s, on suspicion of his involvement in committing the theft, and this following a request from the Rambam Hospital police station in Haifa, on Theft from a hospitalized patient.
The suspect linked himself to the suspicion attributed to him and even indicated the location of the wallet and credit cards that he allegedly stole from the hospitalized woman. His investigation continues. This morning the investigators of the Haifa station will ask to extend his detention at Shalom Haifa District Court.
