Parents of unvaccinated children in Haifa cry out: "Stop the discrimination!"

Parents in Haifa, whose children have not been vaccinated against Corona, complain of a discriminatory and "punitive" attitude, according to them, towards children by the education system. They decided to band together and start a fight to change the situation.

Parents of unvaccinated children opened a group on Facebook and decided to go out and fight against the discrimination that is practiced in the schools, so they claim, against the unvaccinated children. According to them, the Ministry of Education treats children who are not vaccinated differently and does not intend to stand by and let the injustice continue.

According to the parents, it is not possible that when a confirmed patient is discovered in the classroom, the vaccinated students (called by some "the injected ones") will be able to perform an antigen test and immediately return (upon receiving a negative result) to study normally at school, as opposed to unvaccinated children, even if they do An antigen or pcr test that will show that they do not have corona, will still require them to sit at home for a week in isolation.

In the Facebook group, which is expanding and growing all the time, intentions began to arise to unite in order to demonstrate in front of the house of the Minister of Education Yifat Shasha Biton and there is a lively discussion about the fact that the schools should be shut down as long as this injustice against the children continues.

"Punish the unvaccinated"

"This instruction lacks any sense and its entire purpose is to punish the unvaccinated," they claim. "My child is healthy, I know this because I did a PCR test on him, which is more sensitive and accurate, but he sits at home and cannot return to class, while his friends who were tested with only antigen, which is known to be much less reliable, came back as if nothing happened, only because they were vaccinated." says one of the mothers. According to the parents, there are schools where most students are not vaccinated at all.

"It doesn't matter that there aren't many vaccinated children in my daughter's class," says the mother of a student at the Ein Hayam school. "I and most of the parents of the class are 'on the same page' and we did not vaccinate the children. Some of us are also not vaccinated ourselves. As soon as two verified students were discovered in the class, we took the children for a test and it turned out that they did not have Corona. In practice, 4 vaccinated students returned to school and all the other students - The unvaccinated ones were sent to study from home. It's very frustrating for us and the children. After all, they don't have corona, so why do they sit at home and their vaccinated friends go to school? I don't understand this discrimination."

"The state turned its back on me"

"I feel that her only goal is to break us and make us vaccinate the children, but that will not happen, and no matter what the state does. I thought I live in a pluralistic country, that I have freedom of choice and freedom of thought here, but the corona virus has revealed to me that democracy in Israel is fragile. As long as I thought like everyone else and did what everyone else did, everything was excellent. As soon as I started thinking independently and realized that the damage from the corona vaccine is greater than the damage from the corona itself, the state began to turn its back on me. It is very painful for me and it hurts me that there is no uprising of all the residents here against the ongoing injustice done without Vaccinated".

It should be noted that, alongside the parents and children, there is also a group of teachers who are not vaccinated, who complain about the demand from them, which does not make sense in their view, to perform two pcr tests a week at their expense, when it is already clear that the tests are not 100% reliable and when it is known that even vaccinated people are easily infected with Corona.

"Teachers are leaving the education system"

"I don't understand what's going on here," says an unvaccinated teacher, "since the epidemic started and most of the population was vaccinated, the principal of my school told me that according to the procedures of the ministries of education and health, I, as an unvaccinated teacher, should bring two negative PCR tests every week in order to enter the school grounds, teach and receive a salary. I have friends and teachers that I met in our Facebook group, who were not ready to take the tests and left the education system. I cannot afford to resign or go on leave, therefore, without a choice, I the tests. The problem is that apart from wasting time, it also costs me money. Today it is already clear that even vaccinated people are easily infected with the new variant (Onikron). So why do vaccinated teachers come to school without PCR tests, and I need to bring tests? After all, both I and the vaccinated teachers could be infected and infected."

At the beginning of the week, a number of parents sent a letter to school principals in Haifa, in which they demand to stop discriminating between vaccinated and unvaccinated children. The letter is worded in a very difficult way and contains clear references to the Second World War, while comparing it to those who stood by and did not prevent the Nazis from implementing discriminatory laws, like those who do not oppose what is happening around the corona and give a hand to alleged abuse, without being vaccinated.

The letter was published on Facebook, with the parents stating that they expect the school principals to oppose the instructions of the Ministry of Education and to stop treating the children this way. Other parents wrote that managers cannot be expected to act contrary to the instructions of the Ministries of Education and Health, and the letter should be addressed to the Minister of Health Nitzan Horvitz and the Minister of Education Dr. Yifat Shasha Biton, in order for them to act to change the policy.

The parents of the unvaccinated children also claim that the silent majority allows these measures, as was the case, as mentioned, in World War II when discrimination against the Jews and other minorities began, adding that they expect all parents to take to the streets and silence the country until this changes.

The unvaccinated parents are very active on social media. One of the mothers said that there is a school in Haifa, where the teaching staff does not tell the students about the masks. According to her, this shows that the staff understands that there is no need for masks, which is why they act that way. The same mother did not agree to reveal the name of the school in question. It should be noted that even parents of unvaccinated children should want the children to wear masks so that if there is a confirmed patient, the chance that their children will be infected will decrease.

"The Injected"

The claim of many parents is that the media and the government hide from the public the serious side effects of the vaccine: death, inflammation of the heart muscle and more. The parents of the unvaccinated children, who for the most part are not vaccinated themselves, claim that it is not possible to talk to the "injected", as they call the vaccinated and they are blind to the truth and behave like "sheep". According to them, those who get vaccinated want to think that the injection will get their lives back on track, and there is no way to talk rationally with these people and open their eyes. "It's much easier to talk to the logic of a cat" someone wrote.

It should be noted that we are all fed by a lot of information published on social networks, and not everyone always knows how to distinguish between reliable information and that which is not. Many of the opponents feed on "alternative" information, from which it appears that the vaccines are "experimental" and even "lethal" and in fact the one who gets vaccinated "buys" the lie, apparently, and endangers his health and life. Many spread what they perceive as "truth" that is apparently hidden from the public and try to "expose" it, according to their perception. As part of this, as mentioned, the group of parents who oppose vaccinating their children and therefore oppose the "green note" and everything that is implied by its application, especially around school students, is also growing. At this point it seems that each side is fortifying its position.
