All eyes are on the derby that will be played today (Thursday 2/12/21 at Sami Ofer), but I would like to divert attention to two other issues related to the green side of the city. In fact, indirectly related, but it is impossible not to refer to them.
Vandalism in Bloomfield:
Last Sunday (28/11/21) Maccabi Haifa played against Hapoel Tel Aviv in a game in which they won 3-1 and continues to trail behind the leader of the table with a minor gap of only 2 points. Unfortunately, the thing that everyone remembers from this game is not the result, But what took place in the stands or rather behind the scenes of those stands: graffiti, damage, destruction, filth, or in one word: vandalism.
Over the years, the Maccabi Haifa crowd receives superlatives and compliments from all sides for being the number 1 crowd in Israel, a crowd that supports its team even if it is in a terrible professional situation.
Make no mistake, I think so too and I do not intend to change my opinion on the matter in any way. But I must stand up against those hooligans who do not hesitate to embarrass the club, its fans and especially themselves!
I am a person who abhors physical and verbal violence! I'm tired of hearing almost every day about stabbings, murders, fights. enough! Just enough!

How does this relate to what happened in Bloomfield? It is very related! The line between cursing, vandalism and murder is very thin. It's not far today that someone will be murdered in the stands or before/after a game. It was very close to this a few weeks ago in the same stadium, when La Familia fans vigorously beat fans of the same team.
It will be said to the credit of Maccabi Haifa that it works vigorously against those wrong phenomena that exist in Israeli society.
These days, the hand is light on the trigger when it comes to violence and it must stop. If there is a subject that really, really does not interest me, it is politics. Why? Because I think you don't have to be an MK or a minister to make a change.
We as a society need to do this. I am here calling on all those parties who blame Corona to stop it immediately!

I hear statements like - "The closures have destroyed Israeli society"... nonsense in tomato juice, which may in the near future be juice of the blood of violence! The corona virus is terrible and unfortunately it's not going anywhere, and it allows itself in the height of its impudence to upgrade itself as if it were some kind of iPhone.
But the corona virus is neither the reason nor an excuse for despicable behavior!
Dear Maccabi Haifa fans, you are an amazing crowd, I will ask you - denounce from yourselves those who do not deserve to be part of you. Deport them with a red card that will keep them away forever.
The response of the greens:
"The Maccabi Haifa football club condemns the vandalism at Bloomfield Stadium. This is an ugly and shameful incident. We are doing everything to find those responsible and of course we will sue them and keep them away from the team's games."
the majority determines
Over the years, there have been quite a few incidents of violence by members of the green crowd, such as throwing objects at coaches during the Kiryat Eliezer days, growls and offensive comments towards dark-skinned players, beatings between fan camps in the stands in an away match against Maccabi Petah Tikva...
I'm not saying that everything is rosy in the green stands, but I do argue that these people are the small part. The disgusting and repulsive part that needs to be treated with severe punishment.
And what about the big part? The one who cheers anywhere in the world and comes to watch the game purely for the love of football? They should be nurtured and cherished. What do they say in the neighborhood? the majority determines. And they are the ones who will determine the good future of the audience.
Ticket prices for an away game:
When you are a successful and rich person, you will always be asked for more money than another person who is not as rich as you. Is it ok and legit? Definately not! I don't remember money growing on trees in anyone's garden in the world.
So why, for God's sake, do the Premier League football teams allow themselves to demand from Maccabi Haifa fans an exorbitant price for a ticket to the game?! This is unparalleled audacity. Really kind of extortion! Blackmail the person who loves his lover. After all, for her he will bring down the moon and the stars.
I hear voices from Maccabi Haifa fan organizations regarding the boycott of the game in front of Nof HaGalil as a result of a demand of NIS 110 per ticket. I say: very good! Do it! When teams realize that Greens fans are not suckers, they will stop doing it. As it was in the game at the beginning of the season against Hapoel Hadera, who finally came to their senses. It is unthinkable that this will happen.
The manager of the football league must intervene and establish regulated regulations, because this event is neither the first nor the last.
"Either all of us or none!"
The Ultras organization stated:
"The management of Nof HaGilil left us no choice but to boycott the game this Sunday (5/12/21).
The repeated attempts of the greedy football businessmen to make money at the expense of the Maccabi Haifa audience will not pass in silence, and from here we call out in a direct and unequivocal voice - we will not be the milking cow of all the league teams.
A price of NIS 110 is imaginary and outrageous for a football game in the Premier League. Whether it's the cheering stand or other stands - it's either all of us or no one! Football is a popular sport and will remain so. Without the fans, football has no right to exist. Anyone who wants to fight our crowd is welcome to try their luck. Our experience proves that when we are united no one can bend us.
We call on the fans to join the fight and not buy tickets, and this with all the desire to support the team in the first game. Those who have already ordered a ticket - can cancel it until Thursday. In addition, not purchasing a ticket for this game is not included in the cancellation list for a foreign subscription.
Our strength is in our unity!"
The fans of the host team also expressed their displeasure at the excessive price demand from the Maccabi Haifa fans, and published a message on social media in which they demand that the management of Nof HaGalil change the price:

Maccabi Haifa encourages violence and so do all teams..
I didn't see her being removed from the stadium by being disturbed.
On the contrary, they receive priority every year in purchasing subscriptions.
There are cameras. speakers. bouncers hidden And somehow the disturbed all the time buy a subscription for another season.
So who is to blame, you say?
