"Crime must not pay - we must act strongly and increase the pressure on the criminals"

The agent who was recruited in August 2020 by the central unit of the North District Police from the criminal world began to operate already in November 2020 and purchased over the past year in 48 different transactions - 53 repairable weapons, 2 explosive devices with a cellular system ready for activation and a lot of ammunition:
The weapons purchased:
- 1 MG type machine gun.
- 25 fixed m16 assault rifles.
- 7 Kalashnikov assault rifles.
- 13 different pistols made by Glock, FN CZ, Sig sauer,
This is the covert operation that resulted in the largest number of arrests of arms dealers since the establishment of the state and the largest amount of weapons seized in this type of operation.
The activity was carried out by the central unit under the leadership of Chief of Staff Meni Binyamin according to the policy of the commander of the North District, Chief Shimon Lavi "Dry the egg and not just catch the mosquitoes" within the framework of which North District police officers work to locate and eliminate the smuggling routes, the trade and the supply of weapons in the settlements of the Arab society. The activity that began throughout the north also expanded towards arms dealers and suppliers from the center of the country.
Superintendent Shimon Lavi:
This is a covert activity that we started to pick up about two years ago in the North District and as part of which the covert agent was recruited and operated for the past year among the criminals involved in the trade and supply of weapons to criminals throughout the North.
We fight violence and crime in the Arab society by all means, and beyond the activity on the criminal side as you see here, we also attack them on the economic, licensing, health and sanitation side while cooperating with all law enforcement bodies in the country. This is a real war on the future of life for all the citizens of the country and their personal safety, this is a war against the infiltration of the influence of criminal elements on the local authorities who try and succeed in getting their hands on public funds, this is a war against extortion by business owners in the private sector. There are organizations here that try to take a significant part of the economic activity in the country, public and private. It amounts to huge sums of money and if we don't continue and act to eliminate them they will get stronger and stronger. Crime must not pay - and we must continue to act more forcefully and increase the pressure on the criminals.

Wow it's just one criminal's. A police of idlers about who they are strong about citizens who don't wear a mask, about children in the park, a driver who simply didn't signal, about innocent law-abiding citizens, the police are lax. When it comes to organized criminals.! They are simply afraid to enter even though they know there is criminal activity there. Why do we fight in protection? Why not take it as a national project? Why does the state pay building contractors for the protection they charge. It's good that you caught this gunman. But what an audacity to brag about. In this perception that this is a drop in the ocean. Tomorrow another military base will be breached and the lack will be completed. The legislator should treat anyone who trades or uses weapons without a license as a terrorist.
If the source of the weapon is a police force,
The thieving neglectors and those who assisted in the theft and/or fraud must be prosecuted.
And to be removed from the army, police.
Look at the amount of weapons circulating in the Arab sector
It's just crazy what's going on there. A whole decade of total lawlessness by the government in dealing with crime led to all this.
To see and not believe the ease with which illegal weapons circulate and produce serious crime.
On top of what has been seized, there are tens of thousands of stolen and illegal weapons that have not been seized... as long as we understand the scope.
In my opinion, operations for the return of weapons and ammunition without voluntary identification should be continued, and at the same time, such blessed operations should be continued, and licensed gun owners should not renew their licenses, why do they need licensed weapons? Weapons for security forces only!!
All is well and good until the criminals come to court!
Then they are released after a short time.
