Preparation of the Israel Police for the Haifa night race on Thursday 4/11/21 starting at 18:30 p.m.
Israel Police officers and dozens of orderlies and security guards will deploy tomorrow, Thursday, starting in the afternoon in the Haifa Port area, Bat Galim neighborhood and the lower city, in order to maintain order and security, along with regulating traffic.
The race will start at 20:30 and the roads will be blocked from 18:30 until the end of the event.

Below are the expected traffic arrangements on the evening of the race:
- The southern part of Haifa Port from the eastern platform to Gate 10 will be closed to vehicle traffic.
- "Zim" square, Navy Street at the entrance to Bat Galim housing complex will be blocked.
- The "Dolphin" intersection will be blocked for those coming from Hagana Blvd. turning left to Bat Galim, as well as for those coming from Rothschild Blvd. towards Bat Galim.
- Sh. Al Atika / Derech Jaffa Entry and exit from the neighborhood will be limited in coordination with the local police force.
- The railroad (bypassing Jaffa Road) will be closed to traffic from the Ben Gurion "Dagon" intersection to the south of the Dolphin intersection.
- Atmaatwa Road, the Silesian junction and the HaSmona train will be blocked in the direction to the south.
- Ha-Hatsmaat Road and Palmer Gate will be closed to southbound traffic.
- Meginiim Blvd. Lachiat and Natanzon will be blocked in the direction of the Azmaatwa road.
- Pal-Yam Ave. to Elijah the Prophet / Natanzon will be blocked in the direction of Independence Road.
- Natanzon / Saraya below the government building will be blocked in the direction of Independence Road.
- The Attsamu road split towards Pel-Yam will be blocked towards the south of Attsamu and the traffic will be diverted towards Pel-Yam and Megamines Blvd.
- Public transportation (with the exception of Israel Railways) will not operate in the lower city to the south.
- An alternative axis to the Independence Road to the south will be Maginim Blvd.
- Traffic on Independence Road to the north will be normal.
- For those wishing to reach the Hasmona train station, they must come to the north on the Azmatu road and cross on foot, the exit from the train parking lot will be in the north direction only.
- Those wishing to come to Rambam Hospital should go through the Allenby Interchange to the second aliyah.
- The exit from Bat Galim to Hail Ham Street will be limited.
- In the event of an emergency, the Independence axis and northern Jaffa will be used as an emergency axis and changes will be made to the traffic arrangements.
- You can be updated in the Wiz app about the expected blockages.
Additional highlights:
- Entry with vehicles will not be allowed for those coming to the race.
- It will not be possible to enter the launch complex and the port area with weapons.
- A green ticket check will be carried out at the entrance to the port at gate 5.
