This is the 11th year of the festival in the Bat Galim neighborhood of Haifa for three consecutive days in Sukkot, Thursday through Saturday, 23/9/21 - 25/9/21.
As part of the festival, art and craft exhibitions will be presented with the participation of creators, in 20 premises in private homes and public buildings. In addition, there will be music performances, writers' and poets' evenings, a children's complex on the Bat Galim promenade, workshops, a vintage and handicrafts fair, free guided tours on walking routes to historic and special houses in Bat Galim.

The testing station is designed to allow children to participate in the Petival that will open this evening in the Bat Galim neighborhood.
The festival, which began today, September 23.9, will last three days and will include exhibitions in homes and public buildings alongside shows, lectures at the bar and events for children and families.
The testing station will operate at the community center in the neighborhood at 45 Aliya Street the Second.

"The festival brands, through the artistic media, the geographical area as a cultural and artistic space with distinct characteristics of a neighborhood. The artistic activity takes place in a complex, living and vibrant environment, while being sensitive to the environment, studying the area, understanding what exists and what is renewed, from a natural growth of creation and blurring the boundaries between Art for art. The festival is an example of collaborations that have expanded over the years and created a unifying array between residents, community institutions, private and public, and social activists - young and old, such as: the community center, the social high school, the Bar-Galim cultural center, the 'Ahwat Galim' collaborations ' established by medical students and social activists. The 'Guardians of the Sea' group, the Claire and Emanuel G. Cancer Society. Consists of a 'cluster of exhibitions', which focus on 'neighborhood stories', 'stories of historic and special houses', 'a tribute to the Navy', which is an inseparable part of the geographical and human landscape in Bat Galim, and the exhibition 'Beat towards the 100th anniversary of the founding of Bat Galim'. Different from the previous years, this time emphasis is given to the exhibitions of young artists, who came from different cultures and countries and settled in the neighborhood such as: Lola Yang from China, in her exhibition 'Calligraphy and more'. Alexandra Blochin in her exhibition 'Dreams on Paper', a member of a family of artists who immigrated to Israel from the former Soviet Union. Photographer Anastasia Zablieva who came to Bat Galim from Moscow, in her exhibition 'From There to Here - Mothers and Their Children'. Maayan Fogel in her exhibition 'Brazil - Bat Galim'. Cluster of exhibitions named "Stories of historic and special houses" under the guidance of architect Zvi Shkolnik, a resident of the neighborhood, and the nostalgic exhibition "Bat Galim and I" by the artist and designer Dov Paz (bass). The exhibition "Father and Daughter" - Haim Raz, stained glass artist, lieutenant colonel and head of the course of sailors, formerly in the army Haim and his daughter Tal Raz - mandala and jewelry artist and keeper of the underwater reef in Bat Galim. Photography exhibitions dedicated to the Navy and ex-Navy residents are: 'The Style Poetry of Itzik Grinstein who photographed the nature of life during his service in the Navy and 'A Navy Wife Who Will Find' The female power in the Navy' by the photographer Dafna Merton in collaboration with the former singer of the Navy Band, Chaya Arad Yonai. The 1921 photographic installation of Sapir Brunsberg. who served as a military photographer as part of her service in the IDF and exhibits for about a decade at the Beit Galim festival. The installation consists of black and white photographs collected from the Haifa city archive alongside contemporary color photographs, which she took in Bat Galim, and together make up the date 1921 - the year the Bat Galim neighborhood was founded.
45 Aliyah Second St.:
Dedicated to the underwater reef, to the group of sea and beach guards in Bat Galim, and an exhibition of rare ship and ship models. In addition, there are exhibitions of artists - veterans of the neighborhood, the group of Milav painters, guest artists and the community television complex, in collaboration with the 'Live in the Movie' group, which operates under the direction of Aki Flexer at Beit Miller. Alex's 'model ships, rare ships and sea paintings' exhibition Blochin, an expert in building models for museums and his and Ina Blochin's paintings. Lectures on the subject will be held in the library at the community center.
