On Tuesday 31/08/21, Holocaust survivor from Poland Shalom Stamberg, 98, who was one of the last survivors of the Warsaw Ghetto, passed away in a good return in Haifa.

Shalom Shtemberg volunteered for many years at the "Yad Ezer Shevre" association in Haifa, giving many lectures to groups of school students, soldiers, and delegations from abroad visiting the association's "Holocaust Museum" in the Hadar neighborhood in Haifa.

Upon learning of his death, the founder and CEO of the "Yad Ezer Heber" association, Mr. Shimon Sebag, said: "It is painful and sad that a personal friend of mine and a dear brother to me for many years passed away, Shalom Shtamberg, who was both the beloved of the city of Haifa and the beloved of the city of Beit Shean, with whose hands he founded Beit The first cinema in the city and the football team Hapoel Beit Shean. Stamberg, volunteered for many years in the association "Yad Ezer Habev" and was a lecturer for students, delegations from abroad and more when he does this as a full volunteer.
