The prosecution division of the Israel Police filed an indictment this morning (Sun. 29/8/21) against a Haifa resident who allegedly broke into an apartment in the city this week.
The police started an investigation a few days ago, upon receiving a report at Moked 100 from a resident of Haifa regarding a break-in to an apartment in the city.
In the meantime, the police of the Haifa station in the Carmel area, carried out searches for the suspect and located him near the scene when in his possession were found findings linking him to the offense attributed to him as well as a phone he stole from the apartment and threw it on the side of the road.
As mentioned, the suspect, a 27-year-old resident of Haifa, was detained for questioning at the police station in the city, his detention was extended from time to time when, this morning, the prosecution division of the Israel Police filed an indictment against him and a request for his detention until the end of the proceedings at the Haifa Magistrate's Court.
Until there is legislation for a few years in prison, crime and theft will continue to celebrate with no escape
