A young fox's head got stuck in a mayonnaise box in Carmel Park Luckily for him, an RTG inspector found him
Nature and Parks Authority inspector Nir Hershkovitz noticed the fox with his head stuck in a mayonnaise box and was unable to get out and luckily for the fox, helped him and freed him.
It only takes another second - and saves a life
Please help us protect the wildlife, throw the trash only in the trash.
This is also the opportunity to mention: food packaging such as this and such as cans:
A second before you throw them in the trash - crush the can or food packaging, so that the animals cannot put their heads inside. The animals tend to stick their heads into the packaging to lick the leftovers, and just like in this case of the poor fox, they can't get it out. As a result, the animals may go through terrible suffering until their brutal death from starvation.
For you it only takes a second, for them it saves life and spares severe agony.

Hila Lauper, activist for animals and member of the Haifa Green Movement city council:
Unfortunately, I come across a lot of cases of fish whose heads are caught in cans and not only, tins of tahini, glass jars, etc. About two weeks ago I received an urgent request to come and help a neighbor who had one of her kittens living in her neighborhood trapped with his head inside a baby's drinking bottle! It happens all the time and with a simple action you can prevent all these tragic cases. Cans (any cans, not necessarily dog/cat cans) crinkle in such a way that you cannot push your head into the box. Mayonnaise/ tahini boxes, etc... close with the lid before throwing in the trash. Same with glass jars. With such a simple action, you can save a lot of food and I call on the public to adopt this for the benefit of food and the environment.

Scatter cans of the appropriate size for the bar bouquets
Ezekiel, the world would be a better place if your father had a condom there!
All the best to the inspector. The one who wrote.. it's a pity that he rescued him. I hope that one day you will need help.... and that you will be left in place. Without providing help. The fox has not yet done harm to anyone.
Ezekiel, who responded here. Too bad your father didn't pull out 10 seconds before
Poor Shualik
And in general, this is the type of jar (plastic), which should be thrown into the orange bin. not?
Kudos to Nir Hershkovitz and shame on the one who wrote "It's a shame he rescued him"... Attesting to the evil nature of the man who feeds on hatred, today it is wild animals and tomorrow it is humans.
Too bad he bailed out
