The yoga practice method is based on the Iyengar class method.
yoga? In-depth study of each asana (posture) and of the body and its various parts.
The purpose of the practice? To develop physical awareness, starting with rigorous training of the muscles and bones, thus penetrating the innermost layers of the self and reaching a connection and balance between the body and mind.

Krishna Macharya due to illness and there the first seeds were planted, for what developed over the years, to the movement called Iyengar Yoga. Iyengar began teaching yoga when he was 18 years old in 1936. One of Iyengar's impressive achievements is the ability to bridge the East to the West and bring yoga to the West in a language he can understand. Today there are many yoga centers in the world that teach yoga according to his method. Iyengar saw the path of yoga as philosophy, science, art and therapy. A reflection of his belief is evident in his inspiring personal practice and the teaching method he imparted to his students. The uniqueness of the practice in his method will describe the greatness and contribution of the man in understanding the way of yoga. One of the contributions of Iyengar the man to the practice of the postures is that he will include the technique of using the body in the yoga postures. Thanks to in-depth investigation and extraordinary personal practice, Iyengar offers a detailed map that describes with incredible precision how to place the body in postures. He drew a clear map describing the uniqueness of each posture and the special connections between the postures, he described diverse modes of practice and teaching, adapted to the population of all types.
This he imparted to his students, written in his books and as a personal example, through his teaching
A longing and a request in the form of relaxationTamar Lapid: Yoga instructorToday is the first time we celebrate International Yoga Day in Haifa and in the world. I teach the Heinegar Yoga method.
We go out to give yoga as a gift to people and my contribution was to spend three hours of classes here on the boardwalk, for me yoga is something that changed my life for the better.
My goal is to expose as many people as possible to this gift and help more people like yoga helped me.
Yoga silences many negative emotions and violent impulsive urges such as greed and envy, hatred and anger and there is a worldly message.
And as more and more people do yoga, we will have a quieter, better world, and more brotherhood between humans and between humans to live, this is the message and this is also the ambition.
We hope that this will become a habit for the residents of the city and we hope that this will continue in the years to come
Danny Shaham: retired from Haifa and practicing yogaI have been attending Tamar's classes for a long time and it adds a lot to my health and soul.
As for yoga, once you get into it it's a pleasure with all the difficulties of the third age and the inflexibility we have is a real pleasure and there is improvement from time to time
The message for the city of Haifa: that people will take advantage of the beach and go for a walk along it and do a lot of exercise of all kinds, especially for the elderly, and this is very important for our health
