From the middle of March of this year, in the parking lot of the Central Hasmona train station, the municipality of Haifa began charging a fee for parking.
Residents who arrived at the scene, noticed warning reports on top of the vehicles in the parking lot, and inspectors handing out reports. This is not the first time that the parking lot "returns" to being paid.
Five years ago, on April 10, 2016, the municipality of Haifa published a notice that the parking lot of the Center Hasmona train station would be operated for a fee.

"It eases the congestion, because many people left their cars here in the parking lot and drove for several days," he explains Erez Yashcharov, CEO of Telant College, next to the train station. "When the parking lot was not marked in blue and white, even on Shabbat there was nowhere to park." Several years ago, Ishcharov took a photo of the congestion on Saturday and sent it to the previous mayor of Haifa, Yona Yahav, who initiated the paid parking arrangements.

Erez Yashcharov:
People who come downtown for an hour or two should be allowed to have a place to park. If you look at the whole ecosystem of the complex, in all big cities there is no free parking in the city center. I pay daily for parking, but in my opinion, in the city's view, it is true.

Yona Yahav sent a message to Lahi Fe - The News Corporation:
This parking lot cannot be free of charge, because the Haifa people who travel to Tel Aviv every day leave their cars day and night and in fact, the ones who are affected by this are the businesses in the lower city.

The Haifa Municipality informed Lahi Pa - the News Corporation:
The lot in question was used as a paid parking lot for years. The on-site parking arrangements were stopped due to a legal issue. With the settlement of the matter, the parking arrangements were renewed, which were intended to create a frequent turnover of vehicles and alleviate the difficult parking situation in the area, for the benefit of the public of visitors who come to the lower city, thereby helping the bustling commercial activity that takes place in the area. Accordingly, the signs for the regulated parking were also returned, when initially only warning reports were registered, and only then did the actual enforcement begin.

Excellent !
But the first hour is free
Second hour 10 NIS.
Second 20..
Tuesday 30..
And the school will let them reach an arrangement that students will pay 7 NIS for 4 hours
from the second hour (first two hours free of charge)
shame!!!! It's not enough to deal with the shutdown of the train on a weekend. I work at the center on Friday and Saturday, I travel the day before Thursday and return the day after Sunday because I can't return on Shabbat because the train is closed. Need it now
Pay parking for two whole days.
Are you tired already!!!!!!!!
Daylight theft!! Who parks their car there? Police and security personnel, hi-tech personnel, students and people who work at the center!! The congestion is due to the number of people who work in the center and not because they leave cars for a few days.. the few days eventually pass and the car is moved from the place.. this is a combination because there is paid parking nearby and it hurts their livelihood, so they connected with a powerful person in the municipality who initiated the process of returning the payment.. what will be done We who work 12 hours a day at the center? Hourly rate 5.7 multiplied by 7 hours every day.. at the end of the month we part with more than a thousand NIS !!
Very good that they made parking pay.
In June cruises start leaving Israel, guess where they all parked indefinitely....
"President of Haifa Clover".
Why downplay the degrees?
"His Highness the Founder of the Kingdom of Tilatan College"
I ask to be careful.
Slut, she should fly from the municipality
Is a disabled spear also paid?
How much is the parking fee per day?
Too bad. !!!!!!!!
as usual to engage
especially you
Yona Yahav who takes advantage of the whole situation in Haifa to sting Klish.
There was never a lack of parking, I don't know what you are talking about, the only thing you did was lead to endless blockages on the streets themselves.
You can finally get to the city for errands by car.
