At the end of a long and rigorous planning process, the works to restore Sderot Yitzhak Street will begin on Sunday 21/3/21.
The works, which will be carried out by the municipality of Haifa, through the "Yefa-Nof" company, will last about three months and will be carried out in sections, with the aim of making it as easy as possible for the residents of the streets. First, the section between Keller Street and Hadassim Street will be closed to traffic, and later the section between Hadassim Street and Scopus Street. A detour will be made through Deer Blvd.

The restoration of the streets Sderot Yitzhak, Sderot Zvi and Sderot Al-Brushi, in which the Haifa Municipality is investing approximately NIS 12 million, is being carried out after a long and careful planning, in which great emphasis was placed on preserving the scenic spectacle that distinguishes these streets and on preserving the old trees, some of which are a hundred years old or more. The rehabilitation plan was presented last month (9/2/21) to the residents at a public participation meeting held with the participation of the mayor.
With the completion of the works on Yitzhak Blvd., Sderot Zvi and Sderot Barushi, whose planning is perfect these days, will also be restored.

Public participation is a process, not the presentation of the final plan
