A surprise for a beloved educator Adi Lesri, a fourth grade teacher from Haifa, had a special surprise waiting for her

Difficult days are passing through the education system in the State of Israel, but despite all the difficulty, a bright spot was found in the 3th grade at the Herzl School in Haifa, under the direction of Tamar Rabiner

The children of the class organized themselves and together initiated a surprise for their teacher - Adi Lesri.
When Adi arrived in the classroom at the beginning of the school year, she brought with her a new and fresh spirit, thinking outside the box and a strong and true desire to invest in empowering and nurturing the students.

Adi, who has a master's degree in communication, introduced theater activities and the use of cell phones to the learning methods in the classroom.

With the help of a theater doll named "Julie", she gave the students a place where they could express themselves freely and in the process, created cohesion and closeness between the children and between the boys and girls in the class.

From a class that was dominated by quite a bit of violence and experienced social disintegration and difficulties, the class became a leading class, which many children want to be a part of. All this, with the help of Adi's "charms", which really, there are no words to describe how wonderful a person and special teacher she is.

The children, who every morning are forced to study via 'Zoom', started the school day last night (Mon 8/2/21) when everyone's computer screens were dark, and when Adi asked where everyone was, she was in for a surprise.

Slowly everyone's cameras began to open, and each boy and girl presented the beloved teacher with a personal sign, which they had prepared, with a few words of thanks, appreciation and love: "I love you", "you are the best teacher in the world", thank you very much" and many more warm words.

Adi was very moved by the gesture, and we, the parents of the students who cherish Adi's work from the bottom of our hearts, were also moved with her.

Our children wait every morning for the zoom sessions, just to meet their beloved teacher Adi, and especially enjoy learning with her. For us parents, Adi is a shining star in the sky, which gives us light in the dark.
That is why we ask, from here, to send to Adi, from the bottom of our hearts:

Dear Adi, thank you very much!

The excited Lasri said in response to the special gesture:

"I am very excited and surprised by the gesture made for me by my amazing students from the 3th XNUMXrd grade at the Herzl school and I will never forget it. I was moved to tears and the words fell out of my mouth, when I found out that they had mobilized for one common goal - to express "thank you" to their teacher... something that is not obvious.
Being a teacher is a very challenging profession and especially these days, during the Corona period, when the reality changes from day to day and from hour to hour.
I was privileged to work in a high-quality school with stunning and talented students and I try as much as I can to always be there for them, in the happy moments, and in the difficult moments, to encourage, support and believe.
Thanks to the school's principal, the amazing Tamar Rabiner, who has been leading the school for years with tremendous success, and to the excellent professional team that accompanied the class from its inception and continues to do holy work every day!!

And of course, a huge thank you
To my beloved students,
For the warm words and encouragement, you moved me very much. I won a wonderful class with amazing, smart and talented children (and parents!!).
Despite the short period and the studies from a distance, we bonded and a deep and meaningful relationship was formed between us.

May we continue together with fun and enjoyment to overcome this complex period.
Love, Adi Lesri."
