The Americans conduct workshops to a variety of countries, on how to raise the level of their supervision of products and services provided in their field (transactions), in order to improve world peace and raise the level of global security.
Yesterday (Friday, 29/1/21) - as part of the conclusion of such a workshop, which was delivered by the Stimpson Institute from the USA, on behalf of the US Department of State, to the countries of Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Bahrain and Oman, the CEO of Lt. Col. (Resp.) Eyal Bar-Or, CEO of the Haifa software company "Safe-Zone", together with me (Momo Cohen, the company's business development manager). , solving complex exercises, in a few minutes (some even in a few seconds!).

One of the scenarios we presented (exercise):

A cargo ship scan, on every cargo and we discovered that the ship is on the American blacklist, the belly of the ship contained products that required licenses (and there were none), the shipper is on the American blacklist and the recipient of the cargo is on the UN blacklist.
We demonstrated a solution in a few minutes, something that would have taken several days in any other tool.
The participants responded in a variety of languages ​​including French, Arabic and more. When I translated the comments into English, I realized that there is tremendous enthusiasm in the group.

Demonstration of protection software for banks

During the workshop, we demonstrated software for banks (SZ4BANKS) that allows them to comply with UN regulations.
The scenario we had to deal with: a customer who wants to transfer a significant amount of money, in order to purchase plastic materials for a third party. We were able to identify the connection between these materials and the production of ballistic missiles.
We demonstrated immediate recognition of the need to comply with the MTCR Convention on the Non-Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Weapons.
This way we enable the bank to immediately stop the transaction before it is executed and to intercept in real time transactions supporting terrorism or weapons of mass destruction.
We also spare the bank the exposure to fines imposed on it in the event of a mistake.
