For the welfare of kindergarten children and their parents, the department of pre-primary education and Lilac Center in Haifa Municipality launched games until home, in Hebrew and Arabic
Since the second quarantine period, the municipal education system has been operating, including the department for developing digital solutions for kindergarten children.
These are educational-developmental and experiential activities that the children will be able to perform wherever they are and especially during periods of closure.
Among the activities: "Experience of a story": a developmental-experiential activity box - to the house
The box includes a digital story adapted to the smartphone, around which are several experiential games directed by the paramedical team of the "Lilac Center" of the Department of Pre-Elementary Education in the Municipality of Haifa.

Clicking on the facilitator's face takes the children and their parents to an experiential instructional video, to strengthen attention skills, memory, motor skills, strengthening resilience, creation, movement and more...
In order to create a holistic envelope for the digital game and during the third lockdown, a book and physical play sets were sent to all the kindergartens in the city around the chosen digital experiential story, in Hebrew and Arabic.

Sigal Tzioni, member of the city council and holder of the education portfolio in the Haifa Municipality:
The corona virus required adapted preparation and taught us to find creative solutions to keep in touch with the children and their parents in any situation. When the constraints of the quarantine did not allow professional teams to visit the kindergartens or receive patients, we created home solutions that would allow families to get to know and identify the professional team and receive developmental assistance from them even remotely. This is the first swallow and one step out of a set of digital and other solutions that are in development and aimed at this goal, we will continue to develop creative solutions to keep in touch with the kindergarten children and their parents, in any form and way.
