"Shavit" anchorage - a marina and central fishing anchorage located east of Haifa port on the banks of the Kishon river. The anchorage is used as a fishing port for private and commercial vessels and serves regularly.
The "Shavit" port was established in 1958, managed by the Ports and Railways Authority, which expanded the mooring pool to the south and east, so that a marina for private and commercial vessels was established next to the historic fishing port.
