A committee for welfare will be established in the city, under the management of Hila Lauper from Haifa's greens
After an appeal by the mayor to the council on behalf of The Green faction of Haifa - Hila Lauper, with a request to establish and manage the committee and a number of meetings held on the subject, it was decided to set off.
This is the first time that the mayor requests cooperation from an opposition company, when it will remain in place and not enter the coalition.
Hila Lauper's response:
I am happy about the mayor's proposal, as someone who has been dealing with the issues of the city all my adult life, of course I will agree to do this. I know how to separate politics from action, I am glad that the mayor also knows how to do this. After many years of neglect and lack of compassion towards the city Haifaim, a change was made in their favor. I am part of the change, and even without the committee I have acted and saved quite a few lives so far. Within the committee it will be easier and more institutionalized.
"The committee will be made up of professionals and public representatives," Lauper continues, "and together we will succeed in bringing about a positive change, after years of injustice towards those who walk on all fours. The committee, of course, will not deal with the issue of wild pigs, for that there is a professional department that deals with it, headed by ecological Yael Olek. We will deal with their well-being and improving their lives and conditions, also in terms of budget, of private companies. They also need to be taken care of, this is a silent, helpless population that has no voice. I have always been her voice and always will be!", Laufer emphasizes, "This does not, of course, contradict my work on other issues, which I will continue to flood and continue to deal with, such as: improving the neighborhood where I live in Kiryat Haim, the issues of air pollution, care and help for the elderly and other issues There are many and varied ones that I deal with every day."
