The group of committees and neighborhood activists in Haifa held a "Zoom" meeting with the Green faction, led by Mr. Avihu Han, on Thursday 29/10/20.

We heard about the activities of the Green faction in Haifa, about their investment in air pollution in the area, their ambition and efforts to achieve governmental transparency and their concern for animals.
The Green faction is doing a great and impressive job in preserving the Green Carmel, while preserving the historical values ​​of the city.

The affairs of Haifa's burning neighborhoods

At the meeting, we talked for over 3 hours about the burning issues in the neighborhoods:
About the quarry in Vardia, about the Hadar neighborhood, about conservation, the treatment of the wild boar problem, the green Dania and of course - The vision for Haifa without air pollution.
We were happy to hear about the close relationship of the faction with the residents of Haifa and the provision of answers and help out of a sincere desire and with great kindness.
We all left this fruitful meeting with tasks for the rest of the way, strengthened and motivated to continue working for the city we love, and for you - the residents of Haifa.

Thank you, our green friends, for an important evening. We learned and received a lot from you. Now we will continue and pass it on - to the neighborhoods.

We, the activists of the neighborhoods and the committees, have decided to join forces and create collaborations and work together for the sake of the city of Haifa. We brainstorm together and hold a series of coordinated meetings in Haifa neighborhoods, with the aim of addressing and improving sore spots in the city. We decided to organize as a group and host the members of the city council, in order to expand together the activities and collaborations for the city of Haifa, to learn and get to know the entire branched municipal system and thus act on the changes required for the sake of Haifa and its residents.
