As part of the meeting, key issues important to the development of the North and the region were discussed.

At the meeting, Kastel presented to Professor Beyer a proposal for international cooperation between the Rambam Hospital and the new Karolinska University Hospital established in Stockholm. The proposal that was forwarded to David Kastel was within the framework of a regional consular conference held in Sweden. Professor Beyar intends to promote the idea together with David Kastel and implement it under the auspices of and with the participation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Haifa and the North. Professor Biar, who stated during the meeting his support for the candidacy of David Castel for the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Haifa and the North, emphasized that he attaches great importance to the development of cooperation in the field of medicine. "The proposed collaboration with the Karolinska Medical Center in Stockholm is An important step in building an infrastructure for a variety of collaborations in the future.
