Council members Sophie Nakash and Eli Ben Dayan, turned to the mayor of Haifa, Einat Kalish, demanding an apology for her statement towards the chairman of Kiryat Haim Shlomo Ohion

Nakash and Ben Dayan sent a letter, in which they demand the mayor of Haifa to apologize, following the conclusion of a council meeting, held last week via Zoom, in which a variety of creative solutions were presented, one of which was the involvement of all members of the city council, social activists, residents of neighborhoods and neighborhoods.

In the discussion, Nakash and Ben Dayan proposed to contact Ohion in order to harness the committee to cooperate with the municipal authorities and the Home Front Command, for the task of reducing the scope of morbidity, help in breaking the chain of infection, and of course, providing support and help, as needed, including a financial contribution or help in financing activities (Depending on the financial capabilities of the committee and with the approval of the chairman and management of the committee). The mayor responded to this and even said "everyone is invited and this is the time for cooperation".

But, to their astonishment, Shankash and Ben Dayan discovered that the mayor had determined, after what was agreed upon in the city council, that the chairman of the committee in Kiryat Haim Shlomo Ohion, is not a person who can lift the project and that the committee is completely disbanded.

Nakash and Ben Dayan stated in the letter, as those who have known Ohion for many years, personally and publicly, not only that he can "lift the project" but also worked and works a lot for the residents of Kiryat Haim and for the city of Haifa.

Nakash stated that as a council member she worked in cooperation with the committee chaired by Ohion, and also under the authority of his predecessors as vice chairman and chairman of a community fund. The committee always knew how to cooperate with the municipal authorities and the city administration for sure in times of need for the unity of the ranks (example of the Second Lebanon War).

It's not too late to apologize

Ben Dayan added, as a member of the board of the Kiryat Haim committee for about ten years, I say in a sharp and clear way: not only is the committee not disbanded, but today it is more united than ever and works in an amazing way for the benefit of the community in a large number of projects and ventures, which is too short to expand on them and about the dozens of ventures that were done just in the year The latter, with almost no municipal help at all!

Naksh and Ben Dayan, stated that it is not too late to apologize, recalculate a route and contact the relevant parties. According to them, the corona virus does not distinguish between left and right, Jews and Muslims, coalition and opposition, it hurts us all and therefore, at this time, we must, first and foremost, unite.

Condemned: Your statement towards the Kiryat Haim Committee

Madam Mayor,

In the reality where the corona virus returns in full force, social responsibility and solidarity is required from us even beyond the days when it is fixed. On this basis, a Zoom Council meeting will be held on the 7th of the month with the participation of most of the Council members and under your leadership. At the meeting, a variety of creative solutions were presented, one of which was the harnessing of all city council members, social activists, neighborhood residents and neighborhood committees.

As residents of Kiryat Haim, we have had the privilege of getting to know the many years of activity of the various committee representatives, including the current chairman of the committee, Mr. Shlomo Ohion. The infection and of course providing support and help as needed including a financial contribution if needed or help in financing activities (depending on the financial capabilities of the committee and with the approval of the committee's chairman and management).

To our delight, you responded willingly and even expanded to say that "everyone is welcome and this is the time for cooperation".
As council members and as residents of the city and the neighborhood, we were called to your initiative.
To our astonishment, the ink is not dry from summarizing things and we discover that words are separate and talks are separate. As it is said in the Talmud "one in the mouth one in the heart".
We find out that you stated that "the chairman of the committee in Kiryat Haim (Shlomo Ohion) is not a person who can lift the project and that the committee is completely disbanded."

So ma'am, Tully is happening before your eyes!!!
As someone who has known Mr. Ohion for many years personally and publicly, you have been told clearly. Not only can he (and should in our humble opinion) "pick up the project" in your words, those he worked and works a lot for the residents of the neighborhood (and the city of Haifa as well).

Instead of engaging in cheap gossip and receiving information that is far from reality from a number of Pancha judges who doubt whether they acted or will act in the interest of any public, we suggest you listen!
Personally, as a member of the council, I acted in cooperation with the committee headed by him (and also with the permission of his predecessors, being the vice-chairman and chairman of a community fund). The committee always knew how to cooperate with the municipal authorities and the city administration for sure in times of need for the unity of the ranks (example of the Second Lebanon War).

Myself as a member of Kiryat Haim's management and board for about ten years I tell you in a sharp and clear way (and as someone who knows the system from the inside), neither sexually nor partially madam! Not only is the committee not disbanded, but today it is more united than ever and works in an amazing way for the benefit of the community in a large number of projects and ventures that were short of expansion. If you want, you can request that they transfer to you the dozens of ventures that were done just in the last year with almost no municipal help at all!

It's not too late ma'am to apologize and recalculate a route and contact the relevant authorities.
Corona does not distinguish between left and right, Jews and Muslims, coalition and opposition, etc. It hurts us all, so at this time we must first and foremost unite the ranks.
