Eddie Dobrotsky, Jeris Salama and Yossi Levy, inspectors who carried out a routine patrol along the coast in Haifa, found themselves in an unexpected dramatic rescue operation
The beach inspectors passed along the beaches as usual and warned bathers of the stormy sea and strong currents, while urging citizens not to stay in the water when there are no rescue services.
A frightened citizen runs towards them
When the inspectors arrived at station number 1 at Zamir Beach, a citizen came running to them and told them in a panic that his wife and two small children were being swept away by the current.
The inspectors jumped to the water's edge and tried to locate the family members, after spotting them drifting in the current they signaled to surfers who were nearby and directed them towards the family members.
Thanks to the cooperation with the surfers
Two surfers managed to reach the family members at the last moment and managed to rescue the mother and her two children to safety on the beach.
The mother thought they were drowning
The family members did not need medical assistance and excitedly admitted to the inspectors and surfers when the mother says that she already thought they were drowning.

Save an entire family
Citizens who were at the beach at the time of the incident praised the quick response of the inspectors, their very presence that saved an entire family and offered towels to the inspectors who got wet during the incident.
This is the place to come back and call bathers not to enter the sea when there is no lifeguard.
Bathing without lifeguard supervision - dangerous!

Hilik Amsalem, Director of the Beaches Division in Haifa Municipality, thanked the inspectors and the surfers for their quick activity, and said that once again it was proven how dangerous bathing in the sea without lifeguard supervision is and appealed to all bathers in the sea to be careful and bathe on the announced beaches and only during the allowed bathing hours.
cerebro …. This is what these parents don't have. What irresponsibility to put small children in a stormy sea.
Kudos to the resourcefulness of the inspectors
Irresponsible mother with small children
The lifeguards are looking with binoculars at the girls all over the world
Great luck, a miracle happened to the family.
I urge people to be careful, you are important
Take care of yourself and the children.
How fun that there is also such news... 🙂
Why is there no report on the most financially difficult decision for Haifa in the last decade - the vindictive decision of Transport Minister Regev to transfer all property taxes from the Gulf port to the cities of the Kiryats only!!!
The port of the Gulf is of course in the territory of Haifa, but due to a critical mistake by Yona Yahav, there is a non-associated Galili area in the place that Haifa will demand as a condition for its development within it to receive the property tax from it.
This is one of the worst economic disasters that Haifa has known.
Families arrive with children, all of them don't know how to swim. Children are in wetsuits from distant villages and don't know that the sea is cruel, and they stay after the rescue services have finished, and that's how they drowned. God bless all this month more than 5
Kudos to the inspectors and vigilance, but the lifeguards' work can continue until 19.00. It's a shame to save money that saves human lives. Let's enjoy the sea a little.
Kudos to the inspectors and vigilance, but the lifeguards' work can continue until 19.00. It's a shame you're saving money that saves human lives. Have a little fun enjoying the sea.
It would be better if they started work an hour later and finished work an hour later because most people enter the sea after five in the afternoon when the weather improves
All the best to the inspectors and surfers ???When there is no lifeguard you don't go into the sea is it a law???
Kudos to the inspectors. Excellent
The best men in the world from the creator of the beach department and Halik Amsalem Shapo Gdol Haifa Municipality
A miracle at Zamir Beach. A big wish for everyone.
Irresponsible mother!!!!!
Who enters a stormy sea after a storm with 2 little ones?????????
Lucky there were inspectors?
Totally, more luck than brains.
It's a shame that lifeguards at Zebulon Kiryat Yam beach stop working at 17 p.m
