A discussion in the Haifa City Council about the crash of the Yaffe Nof company, which happened following the transfer of the projects by Minister Regev to other companies:

Nachshon Tzuk put forward this evening, Tuesday, 11/8/20, a proposal for an order in the city council, regarding the financial situation of the Yaffe Nof company. Zuk explained that after projects worth about NIS 700 million per year were taken from the company, the company was left with projects worth only about NIS 30 million. Zuk also explained that the company takes a project management fee of 3 percent, a fact that leaves a budget of only one million NIS in the coffers to pay salaries to employees, but while the company employs over 45 employees, this budget is enough to pay only two salaries.
Zuk asked to transfer the analysis of the company's situation to the finance committee. The members of the city council demanded that the issue be brought to the council for discussion. As the discussion progressed, Zuk became concerned that his proposal would not win a majority and he removed the proposal from the agenda.
"You destroyed Yaffe Nof"
Tzuk's words caused an uproar in the city council and a harsh exchange of accusations by members of the opposition. Here are the main points of the discussion (you can see the full discussion above in the video):
His father Han hurled accusations at Tzuk that Tzuk and Klish bear responsibility for the company's crash, a crash that began since the two entered and intervened in the management of the company.
Hahn called Aryeh Blitenthal to return and take part in the management of the company. Hahn said that Mayor Kalish should have transferred the chairman of the board, Yoav Ramati from his position and she did not do so. When the dismissal of dozens of loyal employees is expected in the near future, Hahn said that this is a very painful, very serious and very sad process.

Moti Blitzblau said: I found myself standing in front of the chairman of a company appointed by Zuk and Klish, who is in a very serious conflict of interest, and is tainted with alleged corruption. Blitzblau slammed Tsuk because Zuk thought this company was unnecessary. Zuk denied these things. Blitzblau called for the municipal projects to be returned to Yaffe Nof, while trying to save the company.

Council member Eli Ben Dayan told Tzuk: You threw away the matron project and there are problems in your conduct. Instead of signing an agreement ahead of time with the Ministry of Transport, you wasted your time and brought the company to the brink of liquidation. I think that you as members of the board bear responsibility.

Nachshon Tzuk said: The company has a large reserve and the finance committee must discuss the company's ability to continue to exist. Zuk said that the claim that he himself destroyed the company is a funny claim. I am interested in bringing the matter up for discussion among the company's shareholders.
Yossi Shalom said to the cliff: I demand that the discussion be returned to the city council and not to hide the facts in different committees. 700 million shekels disappeared from the city of Haifa and I will not be a rubber stamp of Nachshon Tzuk.
Hila Lauper said: I call on the members of the council to think about what you are voting for. This has consequences for people's lives.
Tzuk replied that it was libel and that the speakers were exposed to a libel suit following these words (said in the city council).
A folding cliff from the offer of order
Towards the end of the stormy discussion, it became clear that Shahira Shelbi, Naama Lazimi and Eli Landau from the coalition refrained from supporting Tzuk's proposal (and actually demanded a discussion in the council). Tsuk tried to count Sigal Zioni among the supporters, even though she was absent from the hall at all, thereby provoking the wrath of his opponents from the opposition. Thus it became apparent that Tzuk would not have a majority in the council. He called legal counsel Yamit Klein for an urgent consultation and in the end Nachshon Tzuk decided to remove his own proposal from the agenda.
What happened at the last council meeting can be described in one word: disgrace. The scornful smile on the face of Nachshon Tzuk, who, with rude language and without success, tried to silence the members of the council, even the mask on his face, could not hide. If only he knew how pathetic he sounds, when he rudely silences speakers, calls for their removal from the hall, or threatens them with a libel suit, just because they dared to express an opinion. Threats, gagging and attempts to silence are the weapons of the weak. And there is no doubt, the current leadership in Haifa is not only a failure, it is also very weak. And once again it turns out that beyond the high and hollow words, Nachshon Tzuk and Einat Klish have not the faintest idea about the matter. Not in finances, not in planning, not in management. Not even in sports, tourism and at sea. They have no idea about anything. And meanwhile, for almost two years, they only destroy. Destroy the Yaffe Nof company, destroy ethos, and destroy sports, culture and welfare in Haifa. why? That way, simply because they can, and we the public, don't stop them and don't take to the streets and protest. We are holding a democratic vote, announced Nachshon Tzuk, who chaired the council meeting in place of Mayor Einat Kalish, who was absent, without the reason for her absence being given. Democratic vote? After all, the members of the municipal coalition are subject and bound by iron coalitional discipline, and vote as their two mayors instruct them, absent of head and heart, even in cases where the vote goes against their common sense and conscience. The votes in the Haifa City Council are far from being democratic and free. The members of the coalition Shahira Shelbi, Naama Lazimi and Eli Landau deserve appreciation for refusing to support the move, which ultimately failed, a move initiated and led by Nachshon Tzuk, acting mayor, whose purpose is to clear himself and his co-leader from responsibility for the collapse of the Yaffe Nof company, to disavow personal responsibility and roll the same for all council members. Three coalition members abstained, and others left the hall before the vote ended, perhaps so as not to be part of the farce and not to be part of the shame. Those who watched the live broadcast of the council meeting must have seen how the shouting in the hall made the lady who translated the sign language in the lower left corner of the screen redundant - the shouting in the hall was so loud that surely even the deaf and hard of hearing among the spectators could hear. A note to the city secretary, Bracha Sela - instead of rebuking the members of the council, it is time for you to prove and put your two bosses in their place, and not be an active partner in the slippery and deceptive misrepresentations that they, with your help, create. To Einat and Nachshon - instead of cleaning imaginary stables, you'd better start cleaning the streets. Haifa, to Davon Lev, was never so neglected and dirty. Whoever comes after you in three years will have a lot of work to do in restoring the destruction you sow and cleaning the big, wasteful and expensive stable you are now building.
Shame on you
A failed city administration that harms every good part, that tries to lead change by destroying the city and its institutions. This damage to the Yaffe Nof company happened during the shift of the mayor Einat Kalish and will be recorded in her name.
Haifa is deteriorating from a city to a town.
Calls on the residents of Haifa to demonstrate against the acts of theft and mistreatment of Yaffe Nof passengers.
What was described before is only the tip of the iceberg. Beyond all the corruption and stench in tenders and appointments
They deliberately make long bus lines from one central station to another and then you can't plan anything and the buses are constantly late and burst.
The matron is a delusional and failed project, tens of millions of shekels per kilometer. Swallowing billions in inflated costs and corruption and combines it's time to make it clear to officials who stink that their job is really not guaranteed.
It's time to break up the failed corporation and establish a clean new company for urban development.
They deserve it after the scoundrel act in the matron.
They knew in advance that no one would use windowless monsters with violent inspectors and forced its use by deleting lines 103,108 and twenty Haifa Kryot lines.
The act of scoundrel is about to be repeated when the line passing between central stations through the tunnels is completed and the Egged 101 line is cancelled, the completion of the line to Nesher will cost us the deletion of lines to there and when the delusional project of the "Rabbelich" is completed, bus lines from the center of the Gulf to the campuses in Carmel will fall victim, in order to force its use .
