The World Sailing Association announced that the Kite-Foil model would be an Olympic model at the Paris 2024 Olympics, and the Israeli Sailing Association immediately began to establish an infrastructure of young sailors, who undergo training on the new and attractive model, with the goal that they will be the Israeli sport's reserve for the coveted medal. The sailing association is a member of coach Gil Horvitz, manager of the Surf Cycle club in Kiryat Yam, who has been dreaming and working for several years to encourage the entry of kitesurfing into the sailing association. In the first camp of its kind, they began converting competitive sailors from a variety of models, including laser sailors, 420, windsurfers and optimists. Gili Horvitz, director of the Surf Cycle Club, in Kiryat Yam, and Eran Sela from the sailing association, worked with the boys and girls throughout the week on basic techniques in the kite-foil maneuver and held a series of spectacular training competitions.

The first Kate-Poyle medal will be at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The medal will be awarded to the country that reaches the highest combined score of a male and female surfer, meaning that it will be the first medal to weigh the score of a man and a woman, with each of them competing separately.
