The bathing season, which was supposed to open on 1/4/20, will officially open on Wednesday 20/5/20, in the shadow of the Corona virus. The bathing season opens about a month and a half late and to the public's delight, we can finally enjoy spending time on the beaches, sunbathe and swim, but all of course in accordance with the guidelines of the purple note and observing the rules of hygiene and keeping the distance.
In preparation for the opening, the Hai Pa system went to the field and met for an interview the director of Haifa's beach division Yehiel (Hilik) Amsalem, who told about the estimates for the big day that the public was eagerly waiting for...
The Director of the Coastal Division, Hilik Amsalem, in an interview with Lahi Pa:
We are ready to open the
Beaches in accordance with the purple note we received from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Interior, the main point of which is hygiene. We will disinfect the toilets every hour, we do not open the wardrobes in the closed buildings due to the directive of the Ministry of Health, but it will be possible to shower outside. We need the cooperation of the citizens in order to maintain the guidelines.
The public in Haifa throughout this difficult period showed responsibility, obeyed the instructions and helped us to keep the instructions. With the opening of the season, we expect the citizens to help us and maintain a safe distance so that we can finally return to our amazing beaches. We also went through a difficult time, it was very difficult to see the beaches deserted and I am very happy that we will see the opening of the season on Wednesday.
We call on everyone to come to the beaches and enjoy the beaches - at the same time to observe the rules and guidelines that are for the health of all of us. We will help to keep the guidelines, we will be careful about the things and we will work in information along all the beaches to keep the rules and we will not reach a situation of worsening and closing the beaches again.
I am calling on the public to help us keep the guidelines so that spending time at the beaches will be fun and happy and healthy so that we can all finish this hard cash and continue our routine.
It should be noted that during the tour today - Sunday, the beaches in Haifa were empty, except for a few people playing sports. According to Amsalem, Haifa's beaches are prepared and adapted for the opening of the bathing season. We call on the Haifa public and the general public that comes to the shores of the city of Haifa, to continue to show responsibility and be careful to follow the instructions. Amsalam also reported that last night (Saturday), many people arrived at the beach and since they expected people to arrive due to the weather, they opened the toilets and operated according to the purple note, cleaning and disinfecting every hour.
