During the exciting event, President Reuven (Rubi) Rivlin said:
When I meet with an institution that has created a voluntary system that touches almost every citizen of Israel, the excitement in me comes from the heart. You are volunteers who attend their shift on a regular basis and reach out to anyone in need all year round and at all hours of the day, around the clock. It seems to me that there is no family in Israel that has not encountered "Yad Sarah", that has not found in the organization the answer to any physical limitation.
The President also asked to thank the volunteers for their service given to a large variety of populations throughout the country, adding: "This is volunteering given without bias, without distinguishing blood from blood, with complete dedication, endless professionalism, and humility.
A big thank you to you, dear Samira, and to you "Yad Sara" volunteers. You are there in the most difficult and sensitive moments of our lives, without bias and with endless professionalism. I wish you to continue your blessed work and that you will be able to reach and help everyone who needs you."
