"Leo Beck" elementary school was announced as the winner of a national education award for the school year 2017

Leo-Bek Hadar Elementary School wins the National Education Award for the year 2017, selected by the national judging committee.
The uniqueness of the school is reflected in the adherence to the goal, teamwork out of mutual respect for each other and faith in the way they established together with the goal of advancing the students while strengthening their belief in themselves and in their ability to become graduates who know the Israeli heritage and aim to integrate into society in an optimal way.
The school has been carrying out significant processes for the sake of the school community over the years. "Leo-Bek" school cultivates in its educational way a sense of belonging among the school community, educates about values, contribution and action in the community along with strengthening and maximizing the potential of each of its students.

The director of the Haifa district, Mrs. Rachel Matoki, congratulates the mayor of Haifa, Mr. Yona Yahav, the school principal, Mrs. Tali Friedler, and her team for receiving the national education award for the "Leo Beck Haifa" elementary school, the school supervisor, Nira Rosenheimer, and the partners in the local authority.
The district manager, Rachel Matoki, points out that receiving the national education award for the school is a badge of honor and an opportunity to cherish the educational work of all the partners in the educational act, day in and day out.
The Leo Bek Hadar school is characterized by achievement, innovation and creativity, by strenuous and unusual activity to reduce gaps in diverse activities for the advancement of all its students, by the rational development of the teaching staff, of an aesthetic, warm and supportive learning environment. In fostering an impressive educational atmosphere, she emphasized an optimal climate, inclusiveness, mutual respect and the way of the land, and in emphasizing the importance of involvement in the life of the community and the closeness and integration of parents and the community in the educational process.
Momoki further added that the day-to-day activities in the educational institutions in the Haifa district is an expression of a national and provincial educational vision that places the education system as a significant step in building a high-quality, mixed, and valuable civil society. The outstanding institutions are a provincial beacon, and I am sure they will be a focus of inspiration for other institutions in the province and in the whole country both in the pursuit of excellence and in groundbreaking thinking and doing.
