The proposed amendment to the Beaches Law may allow for the complete cancellation of the plan to expand the Carmel Beach Monsters
A parade in solidarity with the amendment to the law will take place in Haifa on 3/5/14
A revolutionary amendment proposed to the Coastal Law in 2014 will require adjustment of old plans.
The problem that the members of the Knesset want to fix is Old plans approved by the National Planning and Construction Council, which allow developers to take over parts of the beach in Israel.
The expansion of the towers will require a renewed approval

The idea is that any old plan will have to undergo re-approval in accordance with the spirit of the Coastal Law. A law drafted by the late Yehudit Naut and in fact has already saved many stretches of beach in Israel from being taken over by entrepreneurs.
On 8.6, a ministerial committee convenes to pass the amendment to the Coastal Law.
On May 1.5-18.5, the beach march will take place, from the head of the net to the Zikims.
The purpose of the march is to generate media coverage in order to give impetus to the passage of the amendment to the law
In different places along the way, events of different types and scales are planned.
(We are planning to arrive on Friday 2.5 in the early evening to Ein Hamfaretz, before Raphael, Saturday 3.5 is dedicated to Haifa)
The idea of the march is to create a sequence of events and experiences along the way and thus basically link all the local cells and struggles that have been engaged in the craft for years but each of them in itself is too small to generate enough echo for a significant change.
The power will come from the sequence, from the connection, so the organizers hope.
