As part of a festive event that took place at El Al's offices, the company's CEO Gonen Osishkin hosted the mayors of the Kiryats and their representatives and informed them of his decision to name the company's 737-900 fleet aircraft after the names of the eight Kiryats in Israel, from north to south, including Bialik, Ata, Motzkin, Yam and Tivon .
This is part of a unique project of the El Al company to name its planes after cities throughout the country. The name of the city is prominently written on the fuselage so that anyone boarding the plane can see it.
The fleet of Boeing 737-900 aircraft, which includes approximately 8 aircraft used by the company's customers for flights to European destinations, will be named after the Kiryat Ono (EHA), Kiryat Bialik (EHB), Kiryat Ata (EHC), Kiryat Gat (EHD), Kiryat Tivon (EHE), Kiryat Yam (EHF), Kiryat Motzkin (EHH) and Kiryat Malachi (EHI).
Gonen Osishkin, CEO of El Al:
We are happy to name the Boeing 737-900 aircraft fleet after the Kiryat settlements in Israel, and are proud to continue the tradition of naming the company's aircraft after cities in Israel. I want to thank the mayors who came to honor us with their presence.

What's the deal, I'm from Kiryat Ata, it's stupid, a plane called Kiryat Ata will fly to Paris, but it's nice.
Where is the first reading? Kiryat Haim!!!!!
shame!
Wait, a fleet that lives in Kiryat Tivon gets a discount on flying on a plane in Tivon's name?
Hahaha... can you imagine Tivon flying to San Francisco?
It is not clear to me how I have lived like this until now... that is, without a plane and his name is Kiryat Bialik...
If you don't mind, behind Motzkin, Bialik, etc., are standing (or rather lying), famous people!…
What about cold. Eight, cold. Ekron, Kiryat Yaarim, Kiryat Arba.
