The drainage infrastructure in Haifa is collapsing
The police deployed roadblocks in several road sections in the Haifa and Kiryat area, for the safety of road users due to flooding due to heavy rains in recent hours, several road sections were blocked for the sake of public safety.
The Israel Police provides a snapshot of roadblocks due to bad weather:
- On the blacksmith street (Check Post) the road is flooded.
- Halutzi Ha-Izai St. was blocked
- Kfar Hassidim crossing was blocked
- K. Ata junction - blocked

Haifa station area:
- Paz bridge with flooding - blocked.
- Tachanat Kamach St. - blocked
- Michael St. - blocked
- A number of streets in Hadar and in the Neveh are suffering due to overflowing sewage.
Patrol and traffic vehicles of the Israel Police are deployed and take care of the traffic arrangements in cooperation with local authority inspectors and fire and rescue services.
You must obey the instructions of the police, calculate the route according to the hourly changes in the traffic regulations and adapt your driving to the road conditions.
