MK Lieberman met this morning with dozens of key activists at the "Israel Beitno" headquarters in the city. The meeting was also attended by attorney Limor Magen Telam, a resident of Haifa, who is ranked 9th on the "Israel Beitno" list for the Knesset, Shadi Halul, a member of the Gush Halab council, who is ranked 11th on the list, Ilana Kartish, a resident of the city and an Olympic athlete, who is ranked 15th, Amir Schneider, legal advisor and VP of regulation at the Farmers' Association, placed 20th, Lazar Kaplon, deputy mayor, and other members of the "Haifa Beitno" faction.
MK Lieberman said during the meeting:
"Israel Beitno" will demand the implementation of the northern defense plan in the next Knesset as well. The plan, which I led as defense minister and was frozen by Netanyahu, provides an extensive response to both security threats and earthquakes.
We "in Israel our home" advocate the principle of live and let live: in favor of the Jewish tradition and against religious coercion. We are the first to oppose the opening of supermarkets on Shabbat in Bnei Brak, but we will not allow the closing of supermarkets in Rosh Pina or Haifa. We will not give a hand to the Halacha state. Anyone who wants a broad liberal national government to be established should strengthen "Israel our home".
Attorney Limor Magen Telam:
"Israel Beitno" led by Avigdor Lieberman, is a party that focuses on principles and not chairs. I call on the residents of the city to vote on 17/9/19 for the "Israel Beitno" party. I promise to represent my city, Haifa, and the rest of the residents of the State of Israel faithfully." .
After the meeting, MK Lieberman came to the Grand Canyon together with the members of the list for a visit and was warmly received by the residents. Many residents emphasized that they would be happy to see Haifa representation in the Knesset.
