A young sea turtle got entangled in plastic and was rescued by citizens and rescuers in Haifa

A short time ago, a small sea turtle was located on Zamir Beach by a citizen who brought it to the rescue station of the beach lifeguards in Haifa.
The turtle was trapped in a plastic sheet. The director of the rescue station, Nissim, together with the rescuers Perry and Dror, carefully rescued the turtle from the sheet in which it was entangled.
The beach department of the Haifa municipality immediately contacted the inspector of the nature reserves. At these moments, the rescuers guard the injured turtle, until they come to pick it up for further treatment at the sea turtle rescue center on the trawler.
