Winter has come and with it the rain and the people waiting for the buses have nowhere to hide from it
The photo was taken on Rothschild Boulevard in Haifa in front of Lin Health Insurance
In addition to her, I have several more photos of stations exposed to sheds. Please take into account which population uses public transportation, so that in addition to scanty clothing and the elements, the local authority does not bother to treat them well. All I ask is to immediately install the missing sheds in some of the bus stations in Haifa.
Best regards Rachel.
Yaffe Nof's response further down the page
The Yaffe Nof company is carrying out a huge project for the Haifa municipality, as part of which nearly 1,000 bus stops throughout Haifa are replaced.
As part of the project, accessibility to the bus stops is also regulated, as required by the new accessibility law.
During the process, a situation arises in which the old station is removed and works are carried out to make the station platform accessible - casting a new platform, making ramps to make the station accessible to people with disabilities, etc.
During this period and until the new station is placed there is a period of time when there is no shed.
The performance contractor of Yaffe Nof was instructed to carry out the works in as short periods of time as possible, in order to minimize the discomfort of the residents.
