Major General Moshe Evri-Soknik recounts the battle to rescue the paratroopers at the Chinese farm, in which he fought as a paratrooper in the 100th battalion, to the right of Yossi Morg, who was in the position of liaison officer. The Maj.D. was Ehud Barak. Morgue managed to finish the assault with a proper tank. Suknik moved to Morg's tank and that's how they met. Suknik was awarded the Medal of Valor for his part in this battle:
Soknik tells about fighting alongside Yossi Morg in the Chinese farm
Colonel in the reserves Yoram Yair (yeah), who was a paratrooper brigadier general in the Lebanon war, tells how Yossi Morg, who was then an armor brigade, led an armor battalion in the invasion of Lebanon. The late Morgue's battalion was attached to the paratrooper brigade. Together they operated jointly deep in Lebanon, when Yossi Morgue insisted on standing at the head of the column, even though a general doesn't usually go first, according to IDF doctrine. Yoram Yair approved him to stand at the head of the column , after Murg explained that he was the only one who had already been in the war (he fought in the Kippur war at the Chinese farm and also rescued the paratroopers there). The full and moving obituary is before you. Soon more will be uploaded:
