Or, who was an 101th grade student at Hogim school in Haifa, was on her way to buy a shirt for the holiday and got on line XNUMX. Or was killed when the bus she was traveling in collided with the tunnel wall.
Despite the inclement weather, dozens of people, family members, friends of Or, scout campers and residents of the neighborhood came to watch the lot removal ceremony, which was honored by former mayor Yona Yahav, who also spoke a few words in Or's memory. Speaking at the ceremony were Or's niece, the director of the Ilanot school where she studied, Shai Danieli, the treasurer of the "Ilanot clan" in the scout movement to which Or belonged, campers from the clan and a family friend who did a moving rendition of the song "Or" by Amir Dadon.
After the lot removal ceremony, due to the rain getting stronger, those present moved to the school hall, where the third Hanukkah candle lighting ceremony was held, in which Yona Yahav, Or Yossi's father, and Rabbi Ginzburg, who also delivered a few words at the end of the ceremony, took part.

Rabbi Yehuda Ginzburg, delivered a message to Lahi Fa after the ceremony:
Tonight we inaugurated Or Square. As someone who has accompanied the Elbaz family for several years - I was exposed to the tremendous influence of light on its entire environment. Or gave herself to enlighten others and it was not for nothing that the square was named after that, which will serve as a place for students to meet, for conversations and to enlighten more hearts. It is exciting to participate in this prestigious event which, on the one hand, is a commemoration of the late Light who will celebrate her 20th birthday this evening and at the same time,
Shows her great influence and the light that will not be extinguished for everyone.
