בSea turtle hatching began at a special and reserved farm, on one of the beaches south of Haifa. The little terns come through a thick layer of sea sand and break out of the nest. In the farm itself, about a hundred turtle nests are concentrated, which are copied there from all the beaches around the city of Haifa. There the nests are marked and carefully guarded. Upon hatching, in the evening, the inspectors of the Nature and Parks Authority create a protected path through which the tiny sea urchins break out into the sea.
In this event, there was an opening of nests that had already hatched, in an attempt to find a turtle that was left behind and help him join his friends and reach the sea. The seagulls that were left behind were rescued from the sand and reached the sea. The event was also attended by several families, lovers of nature and the protection of flora and fauna.
