דAnd de Tonijuan from Barcelona is one of the top freestyle surfers in the world. During the F-One conference in Morocco, I asked David to demonstrate the exercise The simplest in the world, as a tribute to kitesurfers in Israel. David willingly agreed, and together we filmed the exercise. In addition, I recorded David so that he could explain the course of the exercise himself. The recording is a bit messed up, because I recorded in a strong wind.
David surfed a new freestyle board called WTF and Kate WTF. This is equipment developed by the company especially for the F-one freestyle team. To David's Facebook page - click here...
| Watch the video - the Riley exercise
| Riley - step by step:
- Fast surfing in sharpening - kite at 45 degrees
- Dropping a bit with the wind and gaining speed
- Raising the kite to 50 degrees
- Strong attachment and a bit of sharpening
- Pulling a bar and cutting off the chicken
- Pop: A strong stretch is required in the Kate and a strong kick with the heels
- Pop: Leap with your feet
- The level of the board up so that the bottom of the board is directed to the sky - as in the picture below (this is the peak of the exercise).
- When flying in the air - lowering the kite to 40 degrees
- Downwind landing.
Good luck, Yaron Karmi
